Obtained BEAM Plus BI environmental certification

In 2013, BEAM Plus Interiors (BI) v1.0 was launched in response to the benchmark demand for localized interior decoration, renovation and renovation work. After ten years, the upgraded version of BEAM Plus BI v2.0 aims to keep the key elements that define green indoor spaces current, practical, clear and standardized, including health and well-being, hygiene, site impact, material use, water quality, energy efficiency and Indoor environmental quality. These performance indicators help integrate different green environmental features into an effective and objective assessment tool.

Eligible sites are assessed based on the following criteria:

- Integrated Design and Construction Management (IDCM)
- Management(MAN)
- Materials and Waste (MW)
- Energy use (EU)
- Water Usage (WU)
- Health and Wellbeing (HWB)
- Innovation and Addition (IA)

The new assessment tool expands its applicability to the most common interior fit-out projects in Hong Kong, including work spaces, shopping spaces, food spaces, institutional spaces, hotel spaces, leisure and entertainment spaces, residential public spaces and hotel units. Furthermore, it extends the applicability of BI to residential units and incorporates a separate set of assessment criteria and rating methodology for this specific category.

How we help you obtain BEAM Plus BI environmental certification

BEAM Plus BI mainly focuses on the green certification of the decoration design of a unit in a property. In two cases, we can help you obtain BEAM Plus BI certification:
