British Chartered Engineer Qualification

The Hong Kong engineer examination generally refers to obtaining the Chartered Engineer CEng (UK) qualification. The assessment system is divided into three parts, namely assessment of qualifications, submission of PRR (Professional Review Report) and passing PRI (Professional Review Interview), usually through the British Engineering Council. Approval and assessment qualifications:

The Hong Kong Engineer License Examination requires specific qualifications and is approved by the Institute. It is divided into academic pathways and experience pathways:

* Hold a British recognized bachelor's degree in engineering with honors (BSc Hon/BEng Hon) plus a recognized master's degree (MSc/MEng) or equivalent qualifications; or
* Hold a Hong Kong recognized Bachelor of Engineering degree with honors (BSc Hon/BEng Hon);
* At least four to six years of relevant work

Experience route (if the applicant does not meet the above academic level)
* Different societies have different requirements. For example, you must be a member of the society to apply through the experience pathway. You must complete the CEng experience template to describe your abilities and verify that you have reached the level of the above academic pathway.

Submit PRR (Professional Review Report)

When the qualifications are approved, the next stage is to submit an EPR or PRR. The report must be 4,000-5,000 words in length, meet the requirements of the society, and be able to express one's abilities. If the EPR or PRR fails to pass the society's approval, the entire CEng The application will be terminated and declared failed.

Entering the PRI (Professional Review Interview) interview stage
